Tussix Air is a product indicated as an adjuvant in the treatment of upper respiratory tract conditions characterized by dense and viscous hypersecretion: cold symptoms, rhinitis, sinusitis, rhinosinusitis, and hoarseness. Hypertonic solutions applied directly to the respiratory mucosa draw water from the intracellular to the extracellular compartment by osmosis. In this way they increase the percentage of water in the mucus that lines the epithelium, liquefying it and facilitating its removal.
Purified water, dibasic sodium phosphate, N-acetylcysteine, monobasic sodium phosphate, blackcurrant glycerin extract, arnica glycerin extract, chamomile glycerin extract, grindelia glycerin extract, resveratrol, methyl-sulfonyl methane, potassium sorbate, sodium benzoate, phenylcarbinol, EDTA tetrasodium salt, polysorbate 20, sodium hyaluronate, Roman chamomile, sodium hydroxide.
Nebulize 1 vial for each session, performing 1-2 sessions daily for 5-10 days or according to medical advice.
