Indications
Tusseval Mucolitico is a syrup indicated for the treatment of secretion disorders in respiratory diseases.
Composition
100 ml of syrup contains: bromhexine hydrochloride 80 mg (equivalent to bromhexine 73 mg) (1 teaspoon, equal to 5 ml, contains: bromhexine hydrochloride 4 mg)
Excipients: the medicine contains sorbitol, ethanol and benzoic acid. For further information, read the package leaflet.
Directions for use and dosage
Adults: Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, the recommended dose is 5-10 ml 3 times a day. At the beginning of treatment, you can take a 5-10 ml dose. It may be necessary to increase the total daily dose up to 48 mg (60 ml) divided into three times.
Children over 2 years of age: Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, the recommended dose is 2.5-5 ml 3 times a day.
Warnings
Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
Storage
The shelf life after first opening the bottle is 9 months for the medicine stored at a temperature below 25°C.
Do not dispose of the container in the environment after use.
