Indications

Tsp 1% is an ophthalmic solution containing a plant substance, extracted from the seeds of the Tamarindus Indica plant, useful for corneal protection, transparent, viscoelastic, sterile. TSP forms a film on the ocular surface that can lubricate and moisten the cornea and conjunctiva, protecting them from irritation due to physical environmental causes (wind, prolonged exposure to sunlight, cigarette smoke, dry air), visual stress (intense eye strain, video terminals) or mechanical factors (contact lenses, eye surgery).

Composition

TS-Polysaccharide 1%; mannitol; monobasic sodium phosphate; dibasic sodium phosphate; benzalkonium chloride; water for injections.

Directions for use and Dosage

Administer one drop of TSP into the eye, applying light pressure to the body of the bottle. This can be repeated several times a day, as needed.

Warnings

The product is for external ophthalmic use only. After administration, temporary blurred vision may occur, which however disappears within a few minutes: it is advisable to wait until the blurring disappears before undertaking any activity that requires clear vision (driving a car, using machinery, etc.). Avoid touching the eye with the tip of the bottle. Do not use in case of known incompatibility with any component of the preparation. Allow 10-15 minutes to pass between instilling the TSP and any instillation of drugs for external ophthalmic use. Do not use the product after the expiry date indicated on the package. Keep out of the reach and sight of children.

Storage

Do not store above 25°C. The product must be used within 30 days of first opening the bottle. Do not dispose of the bottle in the environment after use.
