Trosyd Gynecological is a Giuliani medicine based on Econazole Nitrate, indicated for the treatment of vulvovaginal mycotic infections.
Vulvovaginal mycoses (Trichophyton mentagrophytes, Epidermophyton, Malassetia furfur, Candida albicans, Nocardia minutissima).
Econazole Nitrate 50 mg
Hypersensitivity to the active ingredient or to any of the excipients.
Like all medicines, Trosyd Gynecological can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
The adverse reactions most frequently reported in clinical studies were application site reactions, such as burning sensation and stinging pain, itching, and erythema. Use of the product, especially if prolonged, may give rise to sensitization phenomena. In case of hypersensitivity reactions, treatment should be discontinued and appropriate therapy instituted; similar action should be taken in case of development of non-susceptible microorganisms.
The following table lists the Adverse Drug Reactions that have been reported with the use of the gynaecological formulation in clinical studies or in post-marketing experience, including the adverse reactions mentioned above (Adverse Drug Reactions).

All ADRs with a known incidence (common or uncommon) are derived from clinical trial data and all ADRs with an not known incidence are derived from postmarketing data.
