Indications

Tirocular 4% Eye Drops is indicated in the treatment of ophthalmic disorders due to tear deficiency with and without alteration of the mucosal component such as: dry keratoconjunctivitis, corneal disorders due to altered tear secretion, keratopathies of different etiologies, corneal ulcers.

Components

100 ml contain: Active ingredient: Acetylcysteine ​​4 g
Excipients: Polyvinyl alcohol, Sodium Edetate, Sodium Chloride, Potassium Chloride, Benzalkonium Chloride, Sodium Hydroxide, Water for Injections.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to one of the product's components.

Precautions for use

Both preclinical and clinical studies have shown no evidence of the need for special precautions when using the drug. However, it is advisable to avoid instillation while driving or using machinery; do not use soft contact lenses during therapy, because they may accumulate the preservative contained in the preparation.

Interactions

To date, no interactions are known in the case of local ocular application. However, it is recommended not to mix other drugs with the Tirocular solution, to avoid possible chemical interactions.

Side effects

Possible irritation phenomena, usually transitory and, in hypersensitive subjects, sensitization phenomena requiring the interruption of treatment. Report to your doctor or pharmacist any side effects not described in the package leaflet.

Directions for use

Instill 1-2 drops into the conjunctival sac 3-4 times a day, according to medical prescription.
