Product Description

Immobilization brace useful in case of mild/medium thumb trauma.

Indications

The use of the immobilization brace is recommended in case of thumb trauma (acute phase): benign/medium sprain, contusion. The brace can be worn in case of inflammation of the metacarpophalangeal joint and in the postoperative phase.

Details

  • Specificity: The EPITACT brace perfectly immobilizes the thumb in a straight position, while ensuring maximum comfort thanks to the semi-rigid anatomical reinforcements;
  • Ergonomics: The total opening allows for easier insertion of the thumb when positioning the brace. Thanks to the reinforcements developed to perfectly adapt to the morphology of the thumb, the immobilization orthosis offers maximum comfort and rigid support.

Composition

61% fabric (polyamide, elastane, polyurethane), 39% elastomeric thermoplastic.

Warnings

Traumas requiring orthopedic treatment with plaster, resin or surgery. The brace should not be placed directly in contact with a skin lesion.
