The Clearblue Advanced Digital Ovulation Test works differently to other Clearblue ovulation tests because it is designed to detect 2 hormones, estrogen and luteinizing hormone (LH).

When the device detects a rise in estrogen levels, the display indicates that your fertility is high (a flashing smiley face), an indication that will remain in the following days, until the LH surge is detected. When an LH surge is detected, the device indicates the level of maximum fertility (fixed smiley face).
