Features

The Tegaderm™ transparent film dressing with frame application system from 3M™ is sterile and permeable to water vapor.
These transparent film dressings can be used to protect catheter insertion sites, wounds, to maintain a moist environment and promote better wound healing, or to secure devices to the skin.

• Sterile, waterproof barrier: protects the insertion site and the wound from external contaminants, such as viruses and bacteria, and from blood and body fluids: laboratory tests show its effectiveness as a barrier, starting from viruses with a diameter of 27 nm, provided that the dressing remains intact.
• The breathable film allows the exchange between oxygen and water vapor.
• Easy and safe positioning, thanks to the frame application system, minimizes the risk of sticking to gloves or to itself.
• Provides a sterile, waterproof barrier against external contaminants, including liquids, bacteria, and viruses.
