Features

Tegaderm film 3M is a CE Medical Device equipped with a frame application system, which makes positioning easy and safe and minimizes the risk of sticking to gloves or to itself. and a plaster strip to note the date of application. The breathable film easily allows the exchange between oxygen and water vapor.

It is indicated for:

• protecting the insertion point of venous and arterial catheters, peritoneal catheters and other percutaneous devices;
• first and second degree burns;
• protecting skin at risk of pressure sores or on redness in case of prolonged immobilization;
• securing other dressings in a waterproof manner.

The U-shaped cut, if present, is used to better adapt the dressing around the catheters.
