Product Description

Analgesic and antipyretic.

Indications

Tachinotte is useful for the treatment of cold and flu symptoms accompanied by cough.

• Specifically designed to facilitate nighttime rest.

Composition

Active Ingredients: Paracetamol 2.5 g, promethazine hydrochloride 100 mg, dextromethorphan hydrobromide 75 mg.
Excipients: Sorbitol (70%) non-crystallizing; macrogol 1500; propylene glycol; ascorbic acid; sodium citrate; anhydrous citric acid; sodium benzoate; sodium saccharin; methyl parahydroxybenzoate; propyl parahydroxybenzoate; mint-lemon flavoring; quinoline yellow (E 104); patent blue V (E 131); purified water.

Directions for use and Dosage

• Adults and adolescents over 16 years: take 20 ml of syrup. Fill the measuring cup to the upper mark corresponding to 20 ml (or 4 teaspoons).
• Adolescents from 12 to 16 years: take 10 ml of syrup. Fill the measuring cup to the lower mark corresponding to 10 ml (or 2 teaspoons).
• Paediatric population: The product is contraindicated in children under 12 years of age.

The product should be taken on a full stomach and exclusively before bedtime to improve the quality of night-time rest. Administer once a day for no more than 3 days. Do not exceed the recommended dose. Do not prolong treatment for more than 3 days.

Warnings

After three days of continuous use without appreciable results, consult your doctor. Use of the product is not recommended if the patient is being treated with other anti-inflammatory drugs. During therapy with oral anticoagulants, doses should be reduced. In the rare cases of allergic reactions, administration should be suspended. High or prolonged doses of paracetamol, present in the product, can cause serious liver disease and kidney and blood disorders. During treatment with paracetamol, before taking any other medication, check that it does not contain the same active ingredient, as high doses of paracetamol can cause serious adverse reactions. Instruct the patient to contact their doctor before combining any other medication. Promethazine can enhance the hypotensive effect of some antihypertensive drugs.
