Details

How to use
Measuring body temperature on the forehead
- Press the power button to activate the thermometer and start the forehead measurement mode;
- Aim the sensor at the center of the forehead, keeping a distance of 3 cm or less;
- Press the button again to take an instant measurement;
- At the end of the measurement, an acoustic signal confirms that it has been taken and the result is displayed on the screen (at least 5 seconds must pass between one measurement and the next).
NB: If the distance exceeds 3 cm, the device will not take the measurement and a flashing error message will appear on the display, prompting you to gradually move the thermometer closer. Once the correct distance is reached, the measurement will be completed automatically.
Measuring the temperature of objects and surfaces
- Press and hold the power button for about 3 seconds,
- The device will switch to object mode, indicated by the dedicated symbol that will appear on the right side of the display;
- In this mode, you can measure the temperature of surfaces, objects or rooms;
- Upon restart, the thermometer automatically returns to forehead mode, regardless of the setting active when it was turned off.
NB: Do not use object mode for forehead measurements, as the results may not be accurate.
Cleaning
- Probe: If there is dust or dirt on the sensor or the groove, clean with a cotton swab soaked in denatured alcohol. (Caution: Do not place the product under running water to wash it);
- Body: Clean the product by wiping it with a clean, dry cloth to avoid scratches. (Caution: Do not clean the body of the product with water).
NB: Due to the particularly sensitive technology used in infrared temperature detection, dust and dirt residues can not only affect the accuracy of the measurement but also cause bacterial infections. It is recommended to thoroughly clean the product after each use, as indicated above.

Inspect the product before each use. Do not use the product if damaged. Using a damaged product may cause injury, incorrect results, or serious damage. Avoid placing the product near fire or heat sources, as they may cause the batteries to explode. If you experience any problems with the product during installation, maintenance, or use, please contact the Manufacturer and/or Distributor for assistance. Do not open or repair the product yourself. Please contact the Manufacturer and/or Distributor in case of abnormal situations. The infrared thermometer has been tested and found to comply with the standards for electromagnetic interference (EMC) for medical products. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a typical medical installation. Do not use the product in conjunction with other devices with high levels of electromagnetic emissions. The product must be used solely for measuring body temperature. It cannot be used for diagnosis or for continuous measurement in surgical operations. The product cannot be used for self-diagnosis and treatment: follow your doctor's instructions. The main material of the product body is plastic. Be careful of potential allergic reactions to the material. Do not use on infected wounds. Do not touch the infrared sensor or blow on it with your mouth. Ask doctors and/or specialized medical personnel how to interpret the results of measurements taken with this device. Do not use mobile phones near the product. Do not use equipment that generates electromagnetic fields near the product. The use of heating or cooling devices, such as heating blankets, heating pads, or ice packs, may affect the product's proper functioning and pose an additional risk to the patient. Do not store the product in direct sunlight or in hot, humid, or dusty environments. This may affect the product's performance and proper functioning. Do not disassemble or repair the product yourself (including spare parts). Do not clean or perform maintenance during use. Wait 30 minutes before use if the environment changes suddenly (e.g., from direct sunlight to air conditioning), or the device's accuracy may be affected. Deteriorated sensors and electrodes, as well as loose electrodes, can affect the device's performance and cause various other problems. Do not open the battery compartment near any potential ignition source that could ignite the batteries and cause a fire. Remove the batteries if the product is not to be used for extended periods. Keep the product out of reach of infants, children, and pets. Swallowing and/or inhaling the small parts contained within the device is dangerous and could be fatal. The patient is intended as the operator. Under normal circumstances, the patient can measure and change the battery and maintain the device and its accessories as described in the user manual. Children should not use the product. Children under twelve years of age may only use the device with adult supervision. Children under 12 years of age and/or persons with disabilities that limit their ability to understand and use products such as this must not have access to the device and may only use it with the supervision of a mentally competent adult. Do not bend, compress, or twist the device. Do not drop the product or subject it to strong impacts. Do not subject the product to sudden and large temperature changes. Product performance may be affected by the following: use or storage outside the recommended temperature and humidity; patient temperature below room temperature. If the device has been stored at temperatures below freezing, warm it naturally to room temperature before use. Clean the sensor before storing the product.
Storage
Store at temperatures between -25°C and +60°C, with relative humidity. Shelf life in unopened packaging: 60 months.
