Infrared thermometer with no-touch technology, which allows you to measure body temperature remotely.

Indications

The T-One infrared thermometer is an electronic device, useful for remotely measuring body temperature, both in children and adults, without any direct contact with the body.

It detects the infrared emission of the human body in about 3 seconds, at a distance of 5 cm.

The temperature is measured at the temples and then displayed on the screen. The screen's backlighting allows for reading even in dimly lit environments. Different fever levels are highlighted by 3 different colors (green, yellow, and red).

It can also be used to measure the temperature of surfaces or liquids, such as baby bottles.

How to use it?

Press the power button to start the self-test: a single beep will indicate that the product is ready for a new measurement. Point the device at the center of your temples or at the object while remaining approximately 5 cm away from the measuring surface, then press and release the measurement button.

When two short beeps sound, the measurement has been taken. The detected temperature will be displayed on the backlit screen, with a different color based on the different levels of fever: green if there is no fever, yellow if the temperature is borderline feverish, and red if there is a fever. Only in the temple measurement mode, the device will emit 4 long beeps in rapid succession if the temperature is equal to or higher than 37.5°C, indicating a fever.

To reduce the margin of error, it is recommended to always repeat the measurement three times and consider the one with the highest temperature valid.

Instructions for use

The area of ​​the temples where the device detects the temperature must be dry and clean, and perfumes and/or cosmetics must be removed before taking the measurement. Otherwise, the measurement may be incorrect.

Avoid taking your temperature within 30 minutes of eating, bathing, or exercising.

The thermometer is designed for practical use. It is not intended and should not be used as a substitute for a medical consultation.

Warnings

The device should not be used by children or persons lacking full cognitive abilities without proper adult supervision. Do not expose the device to extreme temperatures, humidity, dust, and/or direct sunlight. Never immerse the device in water or other liquids (the device is not waterproof). The product is not supplied "sterile." Do not use the device in the presence of flammable or explosive substances. Do not use on open wounds or abrasions. Always handle with care, avoiding accidental drops. Do not use the thermometer if it is broken or malfunctioning. If any breakages occur, do not attempt to repair the device yourself; instead, contact the manufacturer's or distributor's customer service. Do not use rechargeable batteries.
