Indications

Sulfur and Potassium Carbonate New.fa.dem. 17% + 8% Ointment Treatment of fungal skin infections, psoriasis, seborrheic dermatitis and parasitic skin conditions (scabies).

Composition

Active ingredients

100 g of ointment contain: sulfur for external use 17 g, potassium carbonate 8 g.

Excipients

White petrolatum.

Directions for use and Dosage

Adults and adolescents, children over 3 years of age Apply the ointment, in the quantity necessary in relation to the area to be treated, 2 - 3 times a day. For the treatment of scabies, after applying the ointment it is necessary to vigorously rub the area to be treated; Furthermore, the ointment must be left in contact with the skin for at least 24 hours without washing. Treatment must continue for at least 3 consecutive days.

Warnings

External use. Avoid contact with the mouth, eyes, genitals, and other mucous membranes. The use, especially if prolonged, of topical medications can cause irritation or sensitization. In this case, it is necessary to discontinue treatment and initiate appropriate therapy.
