TEST STREPA'LERT by F-Care is a rapid self-test for the detection of Group A B-hemolytic Streptococcus bacteria in throat infections.

Directions for use

The product is not intended for medical or diagnostic purposes.

1. Place the extraction tube in a workstation hole. Open the package containing the swab and extract it by grasping the plastic handle. Tilt your head back and open your mouth as wide as possible. wide as possible.
2. Press your tongue with the tongue depressor, meanwhile, with your other hand, rub the soft cotton ball on the back of your throat around your tonsils and on any red or sore areas to collect the sample.
3. After collecting the throat sample, insert the absorbent cotton tip of the swab into the extraction tube located on the workstation.
4. First open the dropper bottle with the blue cap containing Extraction Solution 1, dispense 6 drops into the tube and close the bottle.
5. Open the dropper bottle with the green cap containing Extraction Solution 2, dispense 6 drops into the tube and close the bottle.
6. Hold the swab by the plastic handle and carefully rotate it against the wall of the tube about 10 times to mix the solution. Leave the swab inside the incubation tube for a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 5 minutes.
7. Remove the tube from the hole, then squeeze it to squeeze the cotton tip of the swab, collecting as much liquid as possible.
8. Discard the swab and place the tube in a hole on the workstation.
9. Retrieve the test strip: Open the protective foil pouch and hold the strip by the blue end. Insert it into the test tube and leave it there for a minimum of 5 minutes up to a maximum of 10 minutes.
10. Read the result immediately after the reaction time has elapsed.

• 1 test strip and 1 desiccant sachet;
• 1 sterile swab;
• 1 sterile wooden tongue depressor;
• 1 workstation;
• 1 instruction sheet.
