STERILE PARAFFIN GAUZE

Indications:
- minor burns,
- donor and skin graft areas,
- wounds with skin loss, lacerations and abrasions,
- chronic leg ulcers.

Characteristics:
Sterile paraffin gauze dressing, made from an open-weave gauze. The gauze threads are braided to minimize fraying if the dressing is cut to the desired shape. It has a low adhesion and allows free drainage of the wound, allowing the exudate to pass to a secondary absorbent dressing. Jelonet is not medicated and is therefore ideal for use with local antiseptics or antibiotics. Available in various sizes, the largest of which is 100% cotton. The largest of these is suitable for use in burns departments. It is available in various packaging options: a sachet dressing for single application using aseptic technique; or in metal boxes, to facilitate application to large areas of the body, in cases where it is necessary to use the entire box in a single application.
