Features

Stabigib is the ankle brace indicated for cases of severe or moderate ankle sprains and for lateral stabilization of the ankle joint. It is contraindicated in cases of severe trauma requiring orthopedic or surgical treatment.

How to use

Adjust the distance between the two valves at the heel by acting on the lateral straps of the heel cup. Apply the valves to both sides of the ankle so as to cover the malleoli. Apply and tighten the lower strap. Place the foot wearing the orthosis into a spacious and stable shoe (the shoe must be adjustable with laces or a self-adhesive closure). Adjust the closure of the shoe. Apply the upper strap.

After a few days of use, the straps may loosen; in this case, retighten appropriately. If a localized problem occurs, loosen the straps and reposition the valves.

The air cushions are already pressurized so that no further adjustments are required, however the supplied tube allows you to inflate or deflate them if necessary.

Washing instructions

To ensure a longer life for the product, we recommend following the following washing instructions:

• Clean the plastic parts with a damp cloth.
• The removable side protections can be hand washed in water at 30°C with neutral soap or detergent.
• Rinse thoroughly.
• Do not wring.
• Leave to dry horizontally.
• Do not iron.
