Indications

The flexible hallux valgus orthosis Epitheliumflex02 by Epitact Sport helps realign the big toe, limit pronation, and optimize propulsion. During sports, the quality of support is essential for preventing injuries and improving performance. The orthosis helps relieve pain related to hallux valgus, whether it is in the initial stage or already severe.

How to use and Dosage

1. Positioning and Adjustment

• Insert the forefoot into the containment band;
• Then cover the big toe;
• Position the Epithelium pad (a) behind the onion (b);
• When using it for the first time, do not try to completely realign the big toe;
• During the first 10 uses, gradually realign the big toe by pulling the device back;
• The device It can be worn every day for optimal effectiveness.

Maintenance

• Machine wash at 30°C or by hand (do not rub).
• Allow to dry naturally. Do not iron.

Warnings

Do not use if the big toe is not mobile. The product has undergone all the regulatory tests required by the ISO 10993-1 standard relating to products that come into contact with the skin. However, if you observe a skin reaction, stop use immediately and inform MILLET Innovation. Do not apply to unprotected wounds. People suffering from arteritis, diabetes, polyneuritis, neuropathy of the lower limbs, or varicose ulcers: never use the product on a wound or a diabetic foot ulcer. Check your foot during use and seek advice from your doctor or podiatrist.
