Product Description

Ophthalmic solution based on lactoferrin in liposomes with antimicrobial, lubricating and iron-chelating activity.

Indications

Somilux protects the eye from pre- and post-surgical microbial attacks and is indicated for the treatment of hyposphagma, red eye (hyperemia) and dry eye, caused by inflammatory conditions and dysfunction of the lacrimal glands. It helps effectively reduce redness and irritation, lubricates the eye and protects the ocular surface, ensuring long-lasting relief.

Ingredients

Water, liposomal lactoferrin, glycerin, sodium hyaluronate, vitamin E, EDTA, TRIS buffer.

Directions for use and Dosage

Instill 1-2 drops into the conjunctival sac 3 times a day or as directed by your doctor.

1. Tilt your head back and look up;
2. Gently lower the lower eyelid;
3. Invert the bottle and apply light pressure to release one or two drops of eye drops for each eye to be treated;
4. Release the lower eyelid and close the eye for 30 seconds gently so that the eyelids are closed. the product is distributed evenly.

Warnings

Pregnant and breastfeeding women and children are advised to consult their doctor before use.

The simultaneous use of similar products on the same anatomical part may affect the effectiveness and safety of the device.

Keep out of reach of children. Do not ingest. Do not use the product if the package is not intact. Do not use the product after the expiry date. The expiry date refers to the intact and correctly stored product. Do not use the product continuously for more than 30 days. The product is sterile until opened.

Use, especially if prolonged, could give rise to sensitization phenomena; if this occurs, discontinue treatment and consult your doctor. It is important to report to your doctor or pharmacist the appearance of any side effects not described in this leaflet. External use

Storage

Store the package tightly closed at a temperature not exceeding 25°C in a dry place, away from light and heat sources.
