Solucis Syrup is a mucolytic, fluidifying agent in acute and chronic respiratory tract conditions.

Dosage and Directions for Use
Solucis Syrup is administered according to the following doses: the use of the medicine is reserved for adults,

• Adults: 1 tablespoon twice a day, morning and evening.

Recommended duration of treatment. Acute respiratory tract conditions: 8 to 10 days. Chronic and recurrent ENT or bronchial conditions: 10 days to 3 weeks plus 10 days. times a year.

Contraindications

• Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.
• Gastroduodenal ulcer.
• Pregnancy and breastfeeding

Special warnings
The increase in sputum that may occur in the first few days of treatment subsides rapidly thereafter. The product contains sucrose. There are no particular precautions for use. The syrup contains: methyl p-hydroxybenzoate, ethyl p-hydroxybenzoate, propyl p-hydroxybenzoate which can cause allergic reactions (even delayed).

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

• Pregnancy

Although the active substance is neither teratogenic nor abortive, it is contraindicated in pregnant women. Although carbocisteine ​​is mutagenic and has not shown any negative effects on reproductive function in animals, no data are available on its use in human pregnancy. Therefore, the use of the medicine is contraindicated during pregnancy.

• Breastfeeding

Since there are no data available regarding the passage of carbocisteine ​​into breast milk, the use of the medicine is contraindicated during breastfeeding.
