Indications

Therapeutic oxygen administration.

Directions for Use

Disposable product (for a single patient), to be used continuously for a period not exceeding 30 days. Oxygen delivery systems must comply with current regulations. The products must be used by qualified healthcare personnel.

Warnings

Reusing the product may result in: 1. the presence of biological residues that may cause cross-infections; 2. alterations to the materials; 3. the loss of the product's initial functional characteristics. Before connecting it to the oxygen supplier, check its operation. Accidental crushing or kinking of the connection hose prevents the regular flow of oxygen and may cause the connector to detach from the regulator. Careful monitoring by users is therefore recommended. This warning applies even though the models are equipped with a crush-proof star-shaped hose, so the risk of flow interruption is reduced, but still possible. In the case of products containing phthalates (DEHP). Concentrated oxygen can cause the ignition of combustible materials. To avoid the risk of fire or explosion, keep away from possible sources of ignition and refer to the precautions for use of the equipment used to deliver oxygen.

Contraindications

There are no contraindications described for oxygen therapy.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

Although no risks to human health have been established, the long-term use of the devices on pregnant/breastfeeding women or children should be evaluated by the attending physician.
