Indications

Sterile, single-use gauze for periocular hygiene in adults and children. Silverix gauze is indicated for the hygiene of the eyelids and eyelashes, even in the presence of secretions resulting from inflammatory and/or infectious phenomena, such as blepharitis and blepharoconjunctivitis of various kinds (even in the presence of skin desquamation). Their use is particularly valid also in the pre- and/or post-operative phase of ophthalmic surgery or in any case in traumatic events (wounds, abrasions). They are also recommended for the daily hygiene of the periocular area for the removal of cosmetic product residues from the eyelids and eyelashes in subjects predisposed to the onset of blepharitis and blepharoconjunctivitis of various kinds. Their composition also allows them to be used by contact lens wearers.

How to use

After thoroughly cleaning your hands, open the sachet and remove the gauze. Apply the gauze to the eyelid area, gently rubbing it to allow for adequate cleansing, removal of ocular secretions and any other deposits (smog, dust, etc.). In the event of particularly persistent secretions or occlusion of the tear duct, it is advisable to warm the closed sachet for a few minutes in warm water (about 40°C) and then use the gauze as a warm compress, massaging the area gently. In the event, however; In case of inflammation, it is advisable to cool the closed sachet in the refrigerator for a few hours and then apply the open gauze to the eye, keeping it in place for a few minutes as a cold compress.

Composition

100% cotton gauze soaked in 2.8 ml of the following solution: colloidal silver, sodium hyaluronate, chamomilla recutita, euphrasia officinalis, propylene glycol, phenylethyl alcohol, PEG-40 castor oil, PEG-40 hydrogenated castor oil, wheat cocoamino acid, ammonium glycyrrhizate, sodium bicarbonate, sodium chloride, aroma, polysorbate 20, ethylhexylglycerin, water.

Warnings

The sterility of the product is guaranteed only if the sachet is intact. In case of infectious conditions, do not use the same gauze for both eyes. The gauze is disposable; reuse may carry infections. Keep out of reach of children. Discontinue use if irritation or hypersensitivity to the product occurs. Read the instructions for use carefully.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place. Best before date from production, in unopened packaging: 36 months.
