Directions for use
Intended for use exclusively on bedridden patients.
For easy application and removal, we recommend the use of special gloves, paying attention to long nails or rings that could damage the fabric. Make sure the legs are dry. Gently slide the sock up to the heel, then distribute the stitches evenly along the leg with gloves, avoiding pulling. Check the correct positioning at the toe and heel. To protect the seams and the hem, always grasp the stitches carefully. Any adjustments should be made with flat hands, distributing the fabric evenly.
To remove, grasp the top edge with gloves and slide the sock down to the heel, then gently remove the stitches with flat hands.
To preserve the integrity and effectiveness, carefully follow the product care instructions on the package or label. We recommend washing in a special bag.
It is essential not to wear medical compression stockings in the presence of specific absolute contraindications, including advanced peripheral arterial disease (with specific parameters such as Abpi <0.5), decompensated heart failure (Nyha III + IV), septic phlebitis, or massive deep vein thrombosis (Phlegmasia coerulea dolens).
There are relative contraindications that require a careful medical-health evaluation of the risk/benefit ratio, such as marked moist dermatitis, intolerance to materials, severe sensitivity disorders in the extremities, advanced peripheral neuropathy (e.g. in diabetes mellitus), or chronic primary polyarthritis. Inappropriate use may lead to risks such as skin necrosis and pressure lesions to the peripheral nerves. For sensitive skin, compression materials may induce itching, scaling, or inflammation; Proper preparation and skin care is recommended. Avoid cutting protruding threads inside the stocking. To prolong their life, protect the stockings from contact with ointments, oils, and greases. Do not apply to open wounds. For stay-up styles, ensure regular exposure of the skin to air. Failure to follow these warnings may compromise the safety and effectiveness of the product. Any serious incident related to the product must be promptly reported to the manufacturer and the competent authority.
