Indications

SenSura Mio Click n. 10522 are adhesive plates with a mechanical attachment system for SenSura Mio colostomy and ileostomy bags and for SenSura Mio urostomy bags. They have 4 slots for attaching a special BRAVAR support belt. The plate is oval in shape with a flange for attaching the bag. The plate is available in a cut-to-size version. The adhesive is elastic, made up of two layers; it has an oval shape and a reticular structure to ensure safety and protection for the skin. It is also designed to ensure elasticity to follow the movements and shape of the body:
- In the upper layer, the special reticular structure incorporates small hydrocolloids: upon contact with waste, it transforms into a cohesive and compact gel, with high resistance to erosion. This creates a protective seal that reduces the risk of leaks.
- In the lower layer, the mesh structure incorporates large hydrocolloids that guarantee excellent absorption capacity and the creation of a moist environment that promotes tissue repair. The softer polymer network allows this layer to adapt perfectly to the irregularities of the skin while offering high instant adhesion. This layer has a composition designed to ensure elasticity, so that the adhesive best follows the movements and shapes of the body.
- The adhesive is available in a version that can be cut to the desired size (following the guide printed on the silicone paper that protects the adhesive surface).
- The adhesive has a simple cutting guide: the cutting circles are soft, there are different cutting sizes with strong contrasts for users with poor vision, and the circles do not intersect.
- SenSura has a highly visible adhesive removal tab with an easy thumb-shaped grip.
