Directions for use and dosage

Insert the mouthpiece into the appropriate slot. Do not force it; the mouthpiece should only be inserted a few centimeters.

Press the power button; the Bactrack screen will immediately display the total number of tests performed, then begin the countdown.

When the countdown reaches 2, begin inhaling deeply.

When the countdown reaches zero, "Start" will flash and the screen will show three lines. Blow into the mouthpiece for five seconds until you hear a double beep.

Once the sensor has analyzed the exhaled air sample, the estimated Bac value will appear on the screen.

The Bactrack breathalyzer will automatically turn off after 15-20 seconds. You can also turn off the breathalyzer during the countdown by holding down the start button for 3 seconds.

Error Notifications:

• If the subject does not blow a sufficient sample of air, the LCD screen will display “Flo.†Press start to restart the countdown and repeat the test.
• If no air is blown within 15 seconds, the LCD screen will display “Out.†Press start to restart the countdown and repeat the test.
• If the unit is started outside the permitted temperature range (0-40°C or 32-104°F), the unit will display Out°F and the test will not be performed.
• If the battery indicator on the screen is empty, insert two new AAA alkaline batteries.
• If the unit displays “Err2†after step 4, excessive saliva entered the sensor during the test. Wait 20 minutes and try again.

Memory Mode: Enter memory mode by pressing the memory button during the countdown. The most recent result will appear first. Subsequent results will be displayed on the screen in order by pressing the memory button. The breathalyzer stores up to 10 tests. If the memory is full, the oldest test will be automatically deleted.

The product cannot determine the subject's exact blood alcohol concentration (BAC) and should not be used for that purpose.

Read the instructions for use to ensure proper use, within the accuracy limits and calibration requirements.

It is important to have the instrument calibrated periodically. Otherwise, results obtained may not be accurate.

Do not rely on the results to determine the level of intoxication or the ability to operate a motor vehicle or heavy machinery.

This product is not intended for medical or diagnostic use.

Wait at least 20 minutes after drinking, eating, or smoking before performing the test. Failure to do so may result in inaccurate results and damage to the sensor.

Do not blow smoke, food, or liquids into the Bactrack as this will damage the sensor.

Do not perform the test in areas with strong wind, smoke, or where large amounts of alcohol are consumed.

Avoid performing the test in the presence of any substance containing methanol, propanol, or acetone. These substances may interfere with test results.

Replace the two AAA batteries when the battery indicator symbol shows a bar.

Storage

Store at 2°C to 30°C.
