Indications

Rogonil ointment specifically for the control of irritation of the anogenital area in pediatric age. Particularly indicated for the symptomatic treatment of itching, redness, and burning during anogenital inflammation in pediatric and pre-pubertal age due to irritation (e.g. diaper rash), allergies (e.g. atopic dermatitis), or infections (e.g. Staphylococcus vulvovaginitis).
Adjuvant in the symptomatic treatment of the vulvar repercussions of systemic diseases (e.g. chickenpox). The treatment is compatible with any pharmacological interventions required.
It contains Adelmidrol, a substance belonging to the Aliamide class, capable of down-modulating mast cell degranulation and consequently exerting a rebalancing action on tissue hyperactivity.
2-Dodecenedioic acid (transtraumatic acid) facilitates the convergence of local epithelial cells, promoting the "restitutio ad integrum" of the mucocutaneous barrier, which, in hyper-reactive conditions, is compromised.
The product uses an innovative mucoadhesive technology, such that the substances present in the formulation are dynamically conveyed and retained at the application site, thanks to the bond between hyaluronic acid and CD44 receptors expressed by inflamed epithelial cells.

Composition

Petrolatum; cetearyl alcohol; peg-5 rapeseed sterol; parafinum liquidum; ceteth-20; adelmidrol; peg-40-hydrogenated castor oil; triclosan; sodium hyaluronate; trans-2-dodecenedioic acid; methylparaben; sodium dehydroacetate; phytosphingosine.

Directions for use

Apply 2 or more times a day, distributing the ointment evenly over the anogenital area until symptoms resolve or otherwise according to your doctor's advice.
In the case of diaper rash, spread a thin layer of product over the entire affected area at each diaper change, after thoroughly washing.
The product is formulated to ensure an effective protective mucocutaneous barrier.

Warnings

The product is not suitable for individuals already sensitized to the components present in the formulations.
