Indications

Orthesis for stabilizing the trapeziometacarpal joint in the functional position of the thumb, maintaining the mobility of the other fingers and the grasping of the hand. Rigid radial splint for relative immobilization of the first ray of the hand. Comfortable padded lining. Elastic wrist band and thumb tab with Velcro closure.

Directions for use

Insert your hand into the orthosis so that the splint is aligned with the thumb and the last phalanx is free. Tighten the hook-and-loop closure on your wrist for a firm yet comfortable fit. Pull the hook-and-loop tab around your thumb, running it between your thumb and forefinger from the dorsal to the palmar side. Then secure the tab through the hook-and-loop closure.
