Reviscon 1.0% is an injectable medical device based on hyaluronic acid, specifically formulated to relieve joint pain and stiffness.

Indications

Reviscon 1.0% is a sterile viscoelastic solution of highly purified sodium hyaluronate, dissolved in a buffered physiological saline solution. Hyaluronic acid is obtained by bacterial fermentation.

Its viscoelastic action helps restore the functionality of joints affected by osteoarthritis, improving mobility and quality of life.

Reviscon 1.0% is indicated for:

• Relieving joint pain and stiffness: hyaluronic acid acts as a lubricant and shock absorber within the joint, reducing friction and pain during movement.
• Treating osteoarthritis: it is particularly effective in treating pain associated with knee osteoarthritis in patients who have not responded to other conservative therapies.
• Improving mobility: by reducing pain and stiffness, Reviscon 1.0% helps improve joint mobility, allowing you to carry out daily activities more easily.

Ingredients

Per 1.0 ml of Reviscon 1.0%: 10.0 mg of Sodium Hyaluronate, Sodium Chloride, Disodium Hydrogen Phosphate, Sodium Dihydrogen Phosphate, Water for Injection.

Directions for Use and Dosage

Reviscon 1.0% must only be used by a physician for intra-articular injection. Use a needle of suitable size and length, based on the joint to be treated.

3-5 injections per week are recommended. Simultaneous treatment of multiple injections is possible. joints and treatment cycles can be repeated.

To avoid intra-articular infections, a strict aseptic injection technique must be applied.
To avoid pain and swelling, it is recommended to place an ice pack on the treated joint for 5-10 minutes.

In case of effusion accompanied by severe pain, the fluid must be removed from the affected joint.

Warnings

Reviscon 1.0% must be administered exclusively by a doctor via intra-articular injection.

• Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to hyaluronic acid.

Storage
