Product Description

1 soft therapeutic contact lens for ocular bandage (ionic material G-72 HW H2O 72%) in buffered saline solution with Aloe Alvera®.

Indications

REGENERA therapeutic lens® does not have a refractive function and is useful for facilitating corneal re-epithelialization in the post-operative period following refractive surgery or in cases of abrasions and trauma to the corneal surface.

The ionic nature of the material allows for better interaction with the tear film and optimal passage of eye drops through the lens. They can be worn for extended periods of time for a cumulative period not exceeding 30 days. The Aloe Alvera® solution is indicated for prolonged periods of time. The solution in which the lens is soaked has a soothing and anti-inflammatory effect, as well as promoting the re-epithelialization process.

How to use and Dosage

Application

Before touching the lenses, always wash and dry your hands thoroughly, avoiding the use of perfumed and treating soaps. Place the lens in the palm of your hand. Make sure the lens is in the correct position.

Inspect the lens before inserting it and do not insert it if it is scratched or damaged. Make sure that the package is intact and not opened or damaged, as this is a condition of guaranteeing the sterility and conformity of the product. Otherwise, the package must be returned to the retailer.

Once the container has been opened, make sure that the lens inside is floating in the solution. Grasp the contact lens with your fingertips, or better yet, with sterile forceps, gently, taking care not to damage it. Lower the lower eyelid and lift the upper eyelid and gently place the lens on the iris. Slowly release the eyelid. At this point, check:

• The exact position of the lens; if necessary, bring it into the correct position by gently massaging the eyelids or, keeping the eye open, move the lens off-center on the cornea by applying light pressure with your finger on the edge of the upper or lower eyelid;
• That you have not oriented the lens incorrectly; if so, remove the lens and rinse it with appropriate solutions, check its orientation by checking its exact shape and reinsert it;
• That you have carefully followed the hygiene rules regarding hand washing and correct storage of the lens; if this is the case, consult your doctor. a new lens has not been used.

If the lens does not move in the eye and you feel discomfort, we recommend contacting your eye care professional for a lubricating and wetting solution.

Removal

To remove the lens, make sure you have clean, dry hands, use a finger to slide the lens down to the white part of the eye, and then remove it. Use wetting drops if the lens is difficult to remove.

Warnings

The REGENERA therapeutic lens® contact lens may cause irritation. should be used only under the strict indication of your doctor and optician.

• Never use expired contact lenses;
• Only use eye drops compatible with the use of contact lenses; some ocular medications can compromise the tolerability of lenses.
• Some medications (antihistamines, decongestants, diuretics, muscle relaxants, tranquilizers and those for movement syndromes) can cause dryness of the eye, increasing sensitivity to the lenses and blurring vision.
• Some medications can alter the sensitivity to the lenses but also the quality of vision.
• Do not use sprays or aerosols when wearing lenses.
• The REGENERA therapeutic lens® It is not recommended for anyone who is sensitive or intolerant to distilled aloe vera water due to the presence of this additive in the preservation solution of the final product.
