Indications
Redena is a medical device for ophthalmic use consisting of a slightly hypo-osmolar, low-viscosity, sterile, preservative-free solution at physiological pH, comprising a combination of cross-linked hyaluronic acid and medium molecular weight linear hyaluronic acid, in a 10ml multi-dose container, with high biocompatibility. The cross-linked hyaluronic acid has a cross-linked molecular structure which, in combination with the medium molecular weight linear hyaluronic acid, provides greater hydration, permanence and lubricating activity on the ocular surface, thus alleviating the symptoms associated with dry eye syndrome. REDENA is indicated to relieve redness, dryness, and eye fatigue in cases of dry eye syndrome, environmental stress (dust, allergens, smoke, air conditioning, environmental pollution), and visual stress due to the use of computers, television, and video terminals. The product can also be administered during contact lens wear to improve ocular lubrication and comfort.
Components
Cross-linked hyaluronic acid sodium salt 0.1%, hyaluronic acid sodium salt 0.1%, mannitol, sodium chloride, tribasic sodium citrate dihydrate, citric acid monohydrate, purified water to taste. to 100 ml.
Directions for use and Dosage
Instill 2-3 drops in each eye 1-2 times a day or as directed by your doctor.
- Break the safety seal of the bottle by twisting the cap;
- Remove the protective cap;
- Gently press the body of the container and instill 2-3 drops in each eye;
- After instillation, immediately close the container;
- The product is compatible with contact lenses.
Warnings
The product is for single-patient use. The product is for ophthalmic use only. If necessary, consult your doctor for use in pediatric age and for use during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Before instillation, check that there is no residue on the dispenser hole. If there is, clean with a wet cloth and drop a drop before use. Do not use the product if the packaging is damaged and/or if the bottle is not perfectly intact. Keep out of reach of children. Before opening the bottle to administer the drops, it is advisable to thoroughly wash your hands. During instillation, do not touch your eye or any other surfaces with the dispenser tip of the bottle. Do not use the product if you are known to be incompatible with even one component of the formulation. If necessary, check with your optician to ensure the compatibility of the eye drops with your contact lenses. If you experience any side effects such as sensitivity, irritation, or burning during use, discontinue use and consult a doctor. Any ophthalmic medications should be administered at least 15 minutes after instilling the eye drops, especially if they contain benzalkonium chloride or other quaternary ammonium salts, to avoid precipitation of hyaluronic acid. The administration of ophthalmic medications simultaneously with eye drops must be carried out under the supervision of a physician who can evaluate possible interactions. Do not use the product after the expiry date indicated on the package. Do not dispose of the container in the environment after use. In the event of any complaint or serious incident relating to the device, the incident must be reported to the manufacturer.
Storage
Store in a dry place, away from heat sources and direct sunlight, at a temperature not exceeding 25°C, placing the bottle in the carton. Shelf life in intact packaging: 36 months. Shelf life after opening: 3 months.
