Puressentiel's Sinus Express Nasal Spray is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of rhinitis, rhinosinusitis, and nasal congestion, acting to decongest and clear the sinuses.

Indications

Sinus Express Nasal Spray is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of rhinitis, rhinosinusitis, and nasal congestion.

Thanks to its osmotic properties, Sinus Express Nasal Spray:

• Decongests the nasal passages by removing and draining pathogenic contaminants present on the nasal surface, including viruses and bacteria;
• Unclogs and cleans the sinuses, thus reducing intrasinus pressure;
• Reduces all symptoms of sinusitis, reduces nasal congestion, sinus pain in less than 30 minutes, and headaches.

Sinus Express Nasal Spray forms a resistant and protective liquid film on the nasal mucosa. It thus protects the nasal surface from dryness, irritation, and external aggressions. This hypertonic osmotic film acts locally and mechanically, without being absorbed by the body, and provides almost instantaneous symptomatic relief.

Clinical results show a significant decrease in nasal congestion and general symptoms of rhinosinusitis, reducing the need for antibiotic treatment.

0% vasoconstrictor, corticosteroid, antibiotic – It does not cause drowsiness or dependence.

Composition

Active ingredients

Rhinocyanidin (derived from extracts of: Green tea (Camellia sinensis – leaf), Blueberry (Vaccinium myrtillus – berry), Cranberry (Vaccinium macrocarpon – berry) and Black elderberry (Sambucus nigra – berry)). OEBBD* essential oils: Eucalyptus globulus, Peppermint (Mentha piperita), Thyme borneol (Thymus satureioides), and Rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis).
*Botanically and Biochemically Defined Essential Oil.

Excipients

Water, glycerol (26%), hydroxypropylcellulose.

Directions for use and dosage

For children aged 12 years and above. Apply 3-4 times a day.

• Clean your nose thoroughly before using the product.
• Shake the bottle.
• Remove the protective cap.
• Press the spray once or twice until a fine mist of product appears.
• Insert the nasal tip into one nostril, press the spray and deliver 2-3 sprays into each nostril while inhaling lightly.
• Clean the tip with a tissue and replace the cap after each use.

Warnings

The product is intended for nasal use only. Keep out of the reach and sight of children. Follow the instructions for use. Wash your hands before and after use. Reserve the use of each bottle for a single patient to reduce the risk of transmitting infections. The product works within 10-15 minutes of application and causes significant nasal discharge. Do not reuse the product or use other nasal treatments during this time. Nasal discharge may last up to 4-6 hours depending on the severity of the initial nasal congestion. The product is not intended to be used for more than 14 consecutive days. Ask your pharmacist or consult a doctor if no improvement is seen and/or if symptoms worsen and/or if associated fever occurs. Sinus Express Nasal Spray is not toxic if swallowed. Avoid contact with eyes. In case of contact, rinse thoroughly with running water.

Contraindications

Do not use in case of sensitivity or allergy to any of the components.

In the absence of sufficient safety data, do not use this product in children under 12 years of age and in patients suffering from asthma, fungal or allergic rhinosinusitis, or severe respiratory infection.

Side effects

After applying the product, significant nasal discharge may occur. This effect is related to the functioning of the product. The mode of action of the Sinus Express Nasal Spray is due to instantaneous osmosis and may induce a slight burning sensation or irritation during the first 10-15 minutes after using the product. However, if the irritation felt is too strong and/or persists for a long time with the same intensity, it is possible that you are allergic to one of the ingredients and it is recommended to discontinue use of the product. If you experience an allergic-type reaction (burning sensation, swelling, severe and persistent irritation, etc.) within minutes of applying the product, discontinue use, rinse your nose with mineral water, and consult a healthcare professional if necessary.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

In the absence of sufficient safety data, do not use this product during pregnancy or breastfeeding without consulting your doctor.
