Indications

Puro Epithel is a medical device that helps maintain hydration and protect the ocular surface, creating a protective film. It helps maintain the physiological balance of the ocular surface in terms of hydration and protection of the corneal epithelium. It provides relief from dryness, a foreign body sensation, burning, or tired eyes, caused, for example, by prolonged exposure to TV or a computer terminal and by air from heating or air conditioning systems.
The physical properties of carbomer allow the product to bind water, forming a lubricating and wetting film on the surface of the eye, which prolongs the mean tear film breakup time in subjects suffering from dry eye syndrome and other conditions that cause dry eyes.

Composition

1 g of product contains 50 mg of dexpanthenol, carbomer, disodium edetate, sodium hydroxide, water, and cetrimide as a preservative.

Directions for use and Dosage

1. Wash and dry your hands thoroughly before using the product;
2. Tilt your head back;
3. Lower the lower eyelid, so as to form a "pocket" between the eyelid and the eye;
4. Hold the tube vertically above the eye;
5. Squeeze the tube lightly, instill one drop in each eye;
6. Close the cap tightly.

Warnings

Do not use the product in case of known hypersensitivity or allergy to any of the components. If eye irritation occurs, discontinue use and contact your doctor. Do not use the product if the package is damaged. Do not ingest. Keep out of reach of children. Keep away from heat sources. Do not touch the ocular surface or your fingers with the tip of the tube. Do not use the product after the expiry date indicated on the package. It is recommended not to share the product between multiple users. The viscous nature of the product may cause temporary blurring of vision. Use caution when driving or operating machinery. Remove contact lenses before applying the product and wait 15 minutes before reinserting them. Applying the product while wearing contact lenses may contaminate their surfaces. If you are taking any other ophthalmic product concomitantly, wait 15 minutes between each ocular administration. During pregnancy and breastfeeding, consult your doctor before use. The product is normally intended for continuous use for no more than 30 days. If symptoms persist, consult your doctor.
