The Profilcath Plus Bladder Catheter is A indwelling dynamic bladder catheter made of 100% silicone, equipped with longitudinal grooves and a pre-filled syringe for balloon inflation.

Indwelling Bladder Catheter

Dynamic bladder catheter with balloon, for long-term use, Class IIb, with longitudinal grooves, made of pure 100% silicone, with a special valve funnel for Luer and Luer-lock syringes, cylindrical tip, two lateral holes, with a pre-filled syringe of water and 10% glycerin for balloon inflation, in a single sterile package containing the of use.

The longitudinal grooves reduce the contact surface between the urethral wall and the catheter, allowing urethral secretions to flow outward and ultimately preventing decubitus.

The pre-filled syringe ensures a better seal of the balloon and prevents dislodgement of the catheter as well as reducing time in preparing the material.

The individual packaging guarantees the sterility of the product during transport and preparation for catheterization, as required by current regulations 93/42/EEC.
