Indications

Plurigin ovules are a medical device for vaginal administration used as an adjuvant in inflammatory, atrophic, and dystrophic conditions of the vaginal mucosa, such as cervicitis and ectropion. Due to their wetting action, Plurigin ovules are indicated following physical treatment or in cases of postmenopausal vaginal dryness, even in the presence of bleeding. Plurigin ovules, thanks to their gelatin and horsetail extract content, create the conditions to promote healing and re-epithelialization processes, while PHMB and lactic acid allow the restoration of the physiological vaginal pH, thus counteracting the proliferation of pathogenic germs.

Composition

Plurigin ovules contain: porcine gelatin, horsetail glycolic extract, polyhexamethylenebiguanide (PHMB), lactic acid, glycerin, purified water.

Dosage

Insert one ovule in the evening. Remove an ovule from the blister, separate the two edges of the package, extract the ovule and insert it deeply into the vagina.

Warnings

All the operations described must be performed delicately, avoiding compressing the ovule. If the product becomes excessively soft due to exposure to a heat source, it will not lose its characteristics; however, it is recommended to store the suppository in the refrigerator until it reaches the desired consistency. The product must be administered vaginally. In clinical tests, the product has been shown not to be sensitizing.

Contraindications

Known individual hypersensitivity to the product's components. Use during pregnancy or for long periods must be carried out under medical supervision. Keep out of reach of children and store below 25°C.
