Medical device for rectal use useful in case of constipation.

Indications

Pigrolax Bambini by Pediatrica is a Medical Device containing Propolax with carbohydrates and polyols that promote evacuation in case of constipation through a mild osmotic mechanism. Aloe, Mallow and Marshmallow perform a hydrating, emollient and muco-like function, with a lubricating effect reducing friction during the passage of stool. Furthermore, the hydroglyceric Propolis performs an endothelial protective action at the level of the rectal mucosa.

Composition

Deionized concentrated grape must; Sorbitol; Water; Mallow fluid extract, Aloe Barbadensis Gel; Althea Fluid Extract: Propolis hydroglycerin extract; Preservatives: Sodium benzoate, Potassium sorbate.

Directions for use and dosage

• Children aged 1-12 years: 1 5 g microenema as needed.;
• Children aged 3-12 years: in case of obstinate constipation, apply 2 doses at the same time.

Rectal use. Each single-dose container is individually sealed until use; this guarantees hygiene and ease of use. Remove the cannula cover from the single-dose container. Lubricate the cannula with a drop of the solution, insert the cannula into the rectum and press the bellows. Press and hold the cap out and discard.

Warnings

Do not use if you are hypersensitive or allergic to one or more components. In case of persistent constipation, it is important to consult your doctor to rule out other pathologies. Microenemas should not be used in cases of acute abdominal pain or pain of unknown origin. The microenema is for single use only and should not be reused. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use the product if the packaging is damaged or after the expiry date shown on the packaging. Read the package leaflet carefully.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, away from sources of light, heat, and low temperatures.
