Features

Kit consisting of: a Mefar2000 ampoule (lower body, pisper, upper body) and a volumetric mask with connection and exhaust valve. The Mefar2000 nebulizer ampoule with the volumetric mask can be used for the treatment of bronchial asthma, chronic bronchitis, pulmonary emphysema, cystic fibrosis and other respiratory diseases through the administration of drugs in aerosol form. The ampoule is incompatible with solutions containing Menthol (Eucalyptus, essential oils).

Specific for children (0-5 years), can also be used by adults as a mouth mask.

Instructions for use

To avoid the risk of microbial contamination, the components must be cleaned and disinfected after each therapy and before use, carefully following the instructions listed.

Cleaning:The Mefar2000 ampoule and the volumetric mask with connector must be washed with hot water using a little non-abrasive detergent and rinsed under running water.
Once all the parts have been cleaned, they can be dried with a soft cloth or a hair dryer and then put away.
Disinfection The Mefar2000 ampoule and the volumetric mask with connector, after being washed, can be immersed in a cold disinfectant solution (such as a 5.25% solution sodium hypochlorite), following the manufacturer's instructions (be careful to read the warnings and check that the disinfectant solution is compatible with the material the kit is made of).
The kit components, except for the tube end, can be disinfected by boiling them in water for 10 minutes.

Sterilization:The kit components, except for the tube end, can be sterilized in an autoclave at 121°C for 15 minutes (preferably not to exceed 30 ml).
