Product Description

The medical device is designed to immobilize the scapulohumeral joint.

Indications

Dr. Gibaud Ortho Junior Shoulder Brace is indicated for shoulder conditions that may benefit from scapulohumeral immobilization in adduction (with the elbow alongside the body), such as:

• pre- or post-surgery;
• soft tissue damage;
• shoulder injuries and instability.

Shoulder and elbow immobilization brace consisting of an arm cuff, adjustable support straps, and a chest strap for immobilization in adduction and internal rotation. Hand wash in warm water with neutral soap or detergent, rinse well, wring out gently, and leave to dry horizontally. Do not bleach, do not tumble dry, do not iron, do not dry clean.

Composition

100% polyamide, internal padding: 100% cotton, external padding: 100% polyester.

How to use

How to wear it: Insert your forearm into the sleeve, with the Gibaud logo facing outwards.
Pass the straps over your shoulders and cross them at your back.
Pass the straps under the sleeve and secure them by crossing them with the Velcro fastener, taking care to keep your forearm in a horizontal position.
Fasten the chest strap to the sleeve by wrapping it around your chest and the injured arm.
Adjust the closure to obtain a stable but comfortable fit.

Warnings

Store in a dry place away from excessive heat and light.
Do not prolong the use of the product without medical advice.
The product has been designed for use by a single person; do not use it on multiple people.
The product must not be used in direct contact with damaged skin.
