Omron M2 Ess Arm Blood Pressure Monitor is a digital monitor intended for measuring blood pressure and pulse rate in adult patients, also capable of detecting irregular heartbeat.

Interactions
Do not use the monitor simultaneously with other electromedical devices (Em). This may cause the monitor to malfunction. This may cause the devices to function incorrectly and/or give inaccurate results.
Warnings
- Do not change the dose of your medications (including changes in the use of any medications or treatments) based on the measurements obtained with this blood pressure monitor. Take your medications as prescribed by your doctor. Only doctors are qualified to diagnose and treat hypertension and heart disease.
- If you experience any symptoms or problems, contact your doctor.
- Do not delay or discontinue routine checkups or visits based on the results obtained with this monitor.
- Consult your doctor before using this monitor if you have common arrhythmias such as premature atrial or ventricular beats or atrial fibrillation, atherosclerosis, poor blood flow, diabetes, pregnancy, preeclampsia, or kidney disease. Note: The presence of any of these conditions, as well as movement, tremors, or shivering on the part of the patient, may affect measurement values.
- To avoid the risk of strangulation, keep the air tube and the AC power cord away from infants and children.
- This product contains small parts that may pose a choking hazard if swallowed by infants and children.
- Do not disassemble or attempt to repair the meter or other components. This may cause inaccurate results.
- Do not drop or drop the meter. Do not subject the monitor to violent shocks or vibrations.
- During the measurement, observe your arm to ensure that the monitor is not causing prolonged problems with your blood circulation.
- Do not bathe, drink alcoholic or caffeinated beverages, smoke, exercise, or eat for at least 30 minutes before taking a measurement.
- Rest for at least 5 minutes before taking a measurement.
- Remove any tight or thick clothing from your arm when taking a measurement.
- Remain still and do not talk while taking a measurement.

- Make sure the monitor has adjusted to the ambient temperature before taking a measurement. Taking a measurement after a drastic change in temperature may result in an inaccurate result. It is advisable to wait about 2 hours for the monitor to warm up or cool down when the monitor is to be used in an environment with a temperature within those specified in the operating conditions after being stored at the maximum or minimum storage temperature. - Do not excessively bend the cuff or the air tube.
- Do not bend or kink the air tube while taking a measurement. There is a risk of injury due to interruption of blood flow.
- To remove the air tubing attachment, pull on the plastic attachment at the base of the tubing, not on the tubing itself.
- Use only the AC power supply, cuff, batteries, and accessories specified for this monitor. Using unsupported AC power supplies, cuffs, and batteries may damage and/or expose the monitor to potential risks.
- Use only the approved cuff for this monitor. Using other cuffs may cause malfunctions. cause erroneous results.
Contraindications
- Do not use the monitor on an injured arm or under medical treatment.
- Do not apply the cuff to the arm while it is receiving an intravenous drip or a blood transfusion.
- Do not use the monitor on infants, children, or people who cannot express themselves.
- Do not use the monitor in areas where there are high-frequency (HF) surgical equipment or magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment or computed tomography (CT) scanners. This may cause serious injury. This may cause the meter to malfunction and/or give inaccurate results.
- Do not use the meter in oxygen-rich environments or near flammable gases.
- Do not use in locations where there is humidity or where the meter may be splashed with water. This may damage the meter.
- Do not use the meter in a moving vehicle, such as a car or airplane.
- Do not use the meter in locations with excessive or insufficient humidity or where there is water splashing. too high or low temperatures.
- Do not use the monitor after the expires its operating life.
