Oftaros Gauze is indicated for the cleansing and hygiene of the eyelids, eyelashes, and face from crusts, rheumatism, and cosmetics. It is indicated for necessary peripalpebral hygiene even in the presence of allergic, infectious, inflammatory conditions and in the aftermath of trauma and surgery.
Its active ingredients include epigallocatechin gallate (antioxidant/analgesic/anti-inflammatory), tea tree melaleuca oil (antibacterial/antifungal indicated for blepharitis and acne), allantoin (healing for ulcers and abrasions), hyaluronic acid which has a well-known hydrating action and glycyrrhetinic acid (healing, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial).

How to use and dosage
With very clean hands, open the sachet and remove the gauze. Apply the gauze to the eyelid area, gently rubbing it to allow for adequate cleansing, removing ocular secretions, rheum, and pollutants (smog, dust, cosmetics, etc.).
In the event of particularly persistent secretions or blepharitis, it is advisable to warm the closed sachet for a few minutes in warm water (40-50°C) and then use the gauze as a hot compress, massaging gently.
In the case of edema, it is advisable to cool in the freezer and then apply the opened gauze, keeping it in place as a cold compress.
