Indications
Oftafluid by Licofarma is a sterile ophthalmic solution, lubricating, hydrating and protective, preservative-free, isotonic, biocompatible, buffered based on liposomes and cross-linked hyaluronic acid. It is also suitable for use with contact lenses, compatible with all types of contact lenses. The absence of preservatives reduces the risk of adverse reactions and makes the product also suitable for therapies that require frequent and prolonged applications, such as for night-time corneal protection.
Composition
Cross-linked hyaluronic acid 0.15%, Liposomes, Disodium edetate, buffered isotonic solution at pH 7.2. Does not contain: Preservatives, Benzalkonium chloride, Chlorhexidine, Parabens, Thimerosal and components of animal origin.
Directions for use and Dosage
- Remove the safety ring by pulling the tab: remove the cap from the bottle; place the bottle over the eye; apply gradual pressure on the bottle; Recap the bottle after each use.
- Instill one or two drops in each eye once or more times a day or as needed or as advised by a specialist; the product can also be used with contact lenses.
- Administer the product at least 5 minutes before or after administering other topical ophthalmic products.
Warnings
In case of eye irritation, discontinue use and contact a specialist. Do not use in case of allergy or hypersensitivity to any of the product's components. Keep out of reach of children. Do not ingest. Do not use the product after the expiration date. Do not use the product if the bottle appears damaged. Do not touch the ocular surface with the dropper tip. Close the bottle tightly immediately after use.
Storage
Store at a temperature between 5°C and 35°C, in a dry place, away from heat sources. Shelf life in unopened packaging: 24 months. Shelf life after first opening: 6 months.
