Flocare Nutricia Nasogastric Tube is a transparent, radiopaque, and biocompatible polyurethane tube, indicated for short- or medium-term enteral nutrition.

Indications

Made of transparent polyurethane with 3 white radiopaque lines and centimeter markings (the 3 opaque lines ensure optimal visibility under X-rays and greater safety). It is indicated for short- or medium-term enteral nutrition.

The tube is made of soft, biocompatible material for maximum ease of administration.

Warnings

If present, the guidewire should never be replaced or reintroduced during the placement procedure or while the tube is still inside the patient's body.

Contraindications

Nasogastric tubes are not indicated for patients with delayed gastric emptying and/or a risk of aspiration into the airway.
