Flocare Nasogastric Tube Ch14 Nutricia is a nasogastric tube indicated for short-term gastric nutrition.

Indications

It is indicated for short-term gastric nutrition (<8 weeks). The tube is made of soft, biocompatible material to facilitate administration as much as possible.

Warnings

If present, the guidewire must never be replaced or reintroduced during the placement procedure or while the tube is in use. still inside the patient's body.

Contraindications

The use of nasogastric tubes is not indicated in patients with slowed gastric emptying, delayed gastric emptying, and/or a risk of aspiration into the airways.
