This product is a two-piece, open-ended ileostomy pouch system featuring an exclusive Invisiclose closure system and an advanced activated carbon filter for gas deodorization.

Indications

The Natura+ open-ended pouch is a two-piece collection device. The pouch features a circular flange with an interlocking rail. This structure, thanks to its 8 teeth, allows for a secure, airtight connection to the baseplate. The pouch is equipped with a filter and is primarily indicated for ileostomy patients who require a safe device that is easy to apply, remove, and empty. Furthermore, the exclusive Invisiclose closure system, free of rigid clamps, maximizes comfort, hygiene, and ease of use.

The system is composed of two parts:

• skin barrier, to be left on the abdomen for approximately 2 days
• collection bag, to be replaced as needed.

The bag is equipped with an advanced activated carbon filter in the form of a compound that allows the release and deodorization of intestinal gas. The presence of an internal protective film and the position of the filter, centered and above the bag, prevents any contact with effluent. The bag has a symmetrical shape and is covered with a soft non-woven sheet welded at the edges. The lining is present on both sides of the bag in the opaque version and on the body side in the transparent version. The dimensions of the bag with the bottom flat are: 28.2 cm in length and 15.2 cm in width, while the length with the bottom folded is 19.5 cm. The exclusive Invisiclose closing system is composed of: staggered semi-rigid flaps in washable plastic material (7.1 cm wide), a washable plastic Velcro closing system and a Lock-it pocket into which the bottom of the bag folds. The flange attachment allows for maximum airtightness and a secure seal against infiltrations. On the flange of the bag there are two plastic tabs to allow the use of the abdominal belt. The soft, water-repellent lining ensures comfort and discretion and allows the skin to breathe. The filter provides effective and long-lasting gas deodorization. A special seal allows for complete occlusion, useful for example during bathing or showering. The Invisiclose closure system, made of completely waterproof and washable material, allows for easy and completely hygienic emptying of the device whenever necessary. Gently pressing the ends of the white flaps on the bottom of the bag allows for easy emptying of the bag, which can be folded into the dedicated Lock-it pocket. It does not contain latex.
