Product Description

Refills of sterile, pyrogen-free (isotonic) saline solution in bags. CE 0476 medical device for nasal irrigation.

Indications

Indicated for daily hygiene by rinsing the nasal mucosa, to prevent obstructions due to stagnant phlegm secretions or for those suffering from breathing difficulties caused by conditions such as colds, coughs, sinusitis, post-operative conditions, ear infections, asthma, bronchitis, nasal polyps, allergens, or caused by environmental contamination such as dust, smoke, or fumes. Adjuvant in the treatment of nocturnal nasal obstruction.

Directions for use and Dosage

For adults and children (over 3 years), 1 to 2 irrigations per day are recommended, or according to different medical specifications.

Instructions for use:

1. Carefully remove the first protective sachet from the bag.
2. Warm the bag with the solution to approximately 30-35°C by immersing it in hot water. Then unscrew the protective cap.
3. Attach the suction cup to a smooth surface above the sink.
4. Open the package containing the device.
5. Lower the roller wheel until the tube is completely occluded.
6. Remove the cap and firmly screw the male connector of the device. Holding the connector between your fingers, with the other hand, break the fracture cone (arrowhead part) to activate the bag-device connection.
7. Hang the bag on the suction cup, securing it appropriately.
8. Tilt your head forward over the sink, lower than your shoulders.
9. Bring the irrigator nozzle to your nose and gently press on the nostril. Breathe through your mouth throughout the treatment.
10. Raise the roller wheel approximately halfway, then adjust it so that the solution flows gently without going into your throat.
11. About halfway through the treatment, change nostrils if necessary.
