Mucosamin Rectal Gel Adjuvant in the repair process of the rectal mucosa.

Indications

Mucosamin Rectal Gel is a medical device with a predominantly protective action on the rectal mucosa, manufactured in compliance with Directive 93/42/EEC MDD. It is Indicated for actinic proctitis caused by radiotherapy treatment of the pelvic area and for proctitis during chemotherapy or combined treatments (radiotherapy and chemotherapy).
Fluid gel in the form of micro-enemas based on hyaluronic acid, the main component of connective tissue, and amino acids designed to promote collagen formation, can be used as an adjuvant in the repair process of the rectal mucosa and the anal canal, and in the painful symptoms of neurological damage in proctitis caused by radiotherapy and/or chemotherapy treatment of pelvic tumors.
Mucosamin rectal gel, creating a protective layer on the erythematous or ulcerated mucosa characterized by burning pain of varying intensity, reduces the pain symptoms with a rapid reduction of burning and pain. Hyaluronic acid and amino acids also promote regeneration of collagen and epithelial tissue and, consequently, that of the mucous membranes.
Mucosamin rectal gel, in a single-dose container, can be easily applied in the appropriate dosage for rectal mucositis and to maintain mucosal trophism to prevent recurrence and prevent its onset.

Directions for use

Before applying the product, thoroughly clean the affected area. Remove the cap, insert the applicator nozzle, and press the bellows to dispense the gel. If necessary, before inserting the applicator, take a small portion of gel and lubricate the applicator to facilitate its entry and reduce possible soreness in the area. Then insert the applicator tip and apply force to the bellows, evenly spreading the entire gel content. The bottle is a single-dose bottle.
It is advisable to use a micronemesis one or more times a day depending on the severity of the symptoms or according to medical advice.

Components

Purified water, sodium hyaluronate, glycine, L-proline, L-leucine, L-lysine HCl, methyl parahydroxybenzoate, propyl parahydroxybenzoate, propylene glycol.

Storage

Mucosamin rectal gel should be stored between 8°C and 30°C. Do not refrigerate. Store in a cool, dry place, away from humidity and heat sources.
