Indications

Mucocis Adults Syrup is a mucolytic and fluidifying agent for acute and chronic respiratory diseases.

Directions for use and Dosage

2 or 3 tablespoons per day. These doses can be increased as prescribed by your doctor.

Warnings

Mucolytics can cause bronchial obstruction in children under 2 years of age. In fact, the ability to drain bronchial mucus is limited in this age group, due to the physiological characteristics of the airways. They should therefore not be used in children under 2 years of age (see section 4.3). The product contains sucrose: take into account in case of diabetes or low-calorie diets. Patients with rare hereditary problems of fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption, or sucrase-isomaltase insufficiency should not take this medicine. The product contains methyl parahydroxybenzoate, ethyl p-hydroxybenzoate, and propyl p-hydroxybenzoate, which can cause allergic reactions, usually delayed.

Side effects

Dizziness and digestive problems such as gastralgia, nausea, and diarrhea may occur. In these cases, it is necessary to reduce the dosage or discontinue therapy.
