Indications

Monurelle Plus AF Advanced Formula is a CE medical device indicated for the control and prevention of urinary tract infections (cystitis) caused by pathogens such as E. coli and other Gram-negative bacteria normally implicated in the etiology of urological infections. The advanced formula based on Xyloglucan (Hemicellulose) and Gelose, performs a mechanical action in the intestinal lumen, preventing contact of pathogens with the intestinal mucosa, which is the first phase for their proliferation and subsequent passage to the urinary tract.

Composition

Each capsule contains: 100 mg of Xyloglucan, 50 mg of Gelose, 100 mg of Propolis, 100 mg of Hibiscus sabdariffa, Silicon dioxide, Magnesium stearate (vegetable origin) and Corn starch.

Directions for use and Dosage

Swallow the capsule with liquids. This medical device is intended for use in adult patients.

• In patients who develop the first symptoms of urinary disorders, it should be taken orally twice a day (1 capsule every 12 hours) for 5 days;
• To prevent the appearance of relapses, take one capsule a day for at least 15 consecutive days per month. If necessary, treatment can be repeated.

Warnings

The diagnosis of urinary tract infection (UTI) must be performed by a doctor. If symptoms persist for more than 5 days, consult your doctor. An acute urinary tract infection may require treatment with antibiotics. This product does not have bactericidal or bacteriostatic properties and, therefore, cannot replace antibiotic treatment. However, it can be taken concomitantly with antibiotics. It is recommended not to use the product during pregnancy or breastfeeding, unless otherwise indicated by a healthcare professional. Do not take the product after the expiry date printed on the package. Do not take the product if the blister is open or damaged. Keep the product out of reach of children.

Contraindications

Cannot be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding. be used in patients with known hypersensitivity to Xyloglucan, Gelose or other excipients of the product.

Storage

Do not store above 25 °C. Do not freeze.
