Micoxolamine 100mg Vaginal Ovules

Composition:

Each ovule contains: Active ingredient: Ciclopiroxolamine 100 mg. 

Excipients

Benzoic acid, solid ethoxylated semi-synthetic glycerides.

Therapeutic indications

Vulvovaginal Candida infections.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the active ingredient or to one of the excipients.

Dosage

Introduce one ovule per day (in the evening before going to bed) deeply into the vagina for at least three days. Depending on the severity of the infection or to prevent recurrences, treatment may be continued for another 3 days. To prevent reinfection, it is necessary to also treat the area around the vagina (external genital organs up to the anus) with MICOXOLAMINA CREAM. To do this, squeeze a small amount of cream and apply it with a cotton ball to the area to be treated.

Warnings and precautions

If any sensitization occurs, treatment should be suspended and appropriate therapeutic measures should be taken. Mutual infection (ping-pong effect) from the partner is possible. To prevent reinfection, the "healthy" partner should also be subjected to medical supervision. Keep out of reach of children.

Side effects

It may rarely occur. A slight burning sensation may occur in the first few days of treatment.

In pregnant women, the product should be used only if strictly necessary and under the direct supervision of a doctor.
