Vaginal Cream

Composition:

100 g of vaginal cream contain: Active ingredient: Ciclopirox olamine 1 g. 

Excipients

Ethylene glycol and polyoxyethylene glycol palmitostearic acid, glycerides of saturated polyoxyethylene fatty acids, vaseline oil, benzoic acid, butylhydroxyanisole, purified water to taste.

Therapeutic indications

Vulvovaginal Candida infections.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the active ingredient or to one of the excipients.

Dosage

Introduce once a Every day (before bedtime) or as prescribed by your doctor, administer 5 g of vaginal cream (the contents of one filled applicator) deeply into the vagina using the enclosed applicator. Therapy must be continued for at least 6/7 days, even if the subjective symptoms (itching and discharge) have disappeared in the first few days of treatment. However, depending on the severity of the infection or to prevent recurrences, it is advisable to continue treatment for an additional week.

Warnings and precautions

The possible appearance of sensitization requires discontinuation of treatment and the adoption of appropriate therapeutic measures. Mutual infection (a "ping-pong" effect) from the partner is possible. To prevent reinfection, the "healthy" partner should also be subjected to medical supervision. Keep out of reach of children.
