Gynecological Foam

Composition

100 g of foam contain: Active ingredient: Ciclopiroxolamine 1 g.

Excipients

Monoethanolamine lauryl sulfate, polyethylene glycol 150 stearate, polysorbate 20, lecithindiethanolamide, sodium edetate, benzyl alcohol, perfume, lactic acid, purified water to taste.

Therapeutic indications

Adjuvant in vulvo-vaginal Candida infections.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the active ingredient or to one of the excipients.

Dosage

It is advisable to use Micoxolamina Foam 1 or 2 times a day, during the treatment period with Micoxolamina Ovules and/or Micoxolamina Cream. Cleanse the external genitals with 10 cc (1 dose) of gynecological foam dissolved in water, without rinsing.

Warnings and precautions

The possible onset of sensitization requires discontinuation of treatment and the adoption of appropriate therapeutic measures. Mutual infection (a "ping-pong" effect) from the partner is possible. To prevent reinfection, the "healthy" partner should also be subjected to medical supervision. Keep out of reach of children.

Side effects

Rarely, a slight burning sensation may occur in the first few days of treatment.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

In pregnant women, the product should be used only if strictly necessary and under the direct supervision of a doctor.
