Composition:
Each g of gynecological cream contains: Active ingredient: MICONAZOLE NITRATE 20 mg.
Excipients
Gynecological cream: palmito stearate, ethylene glycol, polyoxyethylened glycerides, liquid paraffin, hydroxyethylidenemethylpyrandione sodium salt, butylhydroxyanisole, butylhydroxytoluene, ascorbyl palmitate, purified water. Powder: talc, zinc oxide, precipitated silica.
Therapeutic indications
Treatment of vaginal or vulvovaginal fungal infections, particularly Candida.
Contraindications
Known individual hypersensitivity to the product or to other closely related compounds from a chemical point of view.
Dosage
2% gynecological cream: the contents of the vaginal applicator (5 g of cream) twice a day. How to use the vaginal cream applicator. 1) Open the cream tube by piercing the aluminum cap with the tip of the cap. 2) Screw the applicator onto the tube. 3) Press the tube at the end to fill the applicator with cream. If the piston resists, move it slightly. 4) Remove the applicator and close the tube. 5) Lying on your back, with your knees raised and spread, gently insert the applicator into your vagina. Push the piston all the way down to complete the extrusion of the cream. Remove the applicator without touching the piston. The applicator must be kept scrupulously clean: after each use, wash it with warm water and soap. If your doctor recommends sterilization, follow his/her instructions, keeping in mind that water above 50°C or ether should not be used. The piston can be removed from the cylinder for easier cleaning and complete drying. Store the applicator in a case or other clean, closed container.
Warnings and precautions
Prolonged use of the medicine may cause sensitization. In this case, it is necessary to discontinue treatment and initiate appropriate therapy.

Side effects
Vaginal use: various disorders have been reported in the first weeks of therapy with miconazole: vaginal burning and irritation, pelvic cramps, more rarely skin rashes and headache. In these cases, it is necessary to discontinue treatment and initiate appropriate therapy.
